Hello Host Family,

I am looking to find my next au pairing adventure after a very successful experience so far (I am returning to my host family in France for the 3rd time this summer!)
I am a passionate learner and very keen to discover new cultures all over the world! The most valuable and authentic way to experience the ways of life in different countries is to be part of a family there and I think the cultural exchange from au pairing is a truly extraordinary experience.
My native language is English. I am learning to speak French which has massively improved due to my previous au pairing experiences. I would also love to learn Spanish and I do try to learn basic words of the local language in any country I visit too.
My main motivation for au pairing is to see the world whilst doing something significant with my time, growing my experience and confidence meeting new people, understanding new cultures and supporting families with their everyday lives!
I hope to have an enriching cultural exchange is the experience through au pairing. Sharing wonderful memories, building strong bonds and learning a lot from each other. I like to build a 'big sister' relationship with the host children to be fun, encouraging, someone they trust and teach each other what we know.

Experiência com crianças

Soon I will start my third stay au pairing for a family in France, which I have loved every minute of, become close to the family and learnt SO much!
As mentioned I have my children’s nursing experience which included a 3 month placement in a children's respiratory ward of a busy hospital, over time acquiring my own patients and supporting/reassuring parents.
I help with babysitting my nieces often, I love their company and always try to instil them with good values and positive ways of thinking.
I have 9 GCSE qualifications and 3 A Levels, including a Level 3 in Health and Social Care so I am trained in child and adult first aid and competent with children’s safety.
Additionally, I studied both Children’s Nursing and Psychology for a year each at university, but left due to no longer being interested in these courses as careers options.
I am also qualified and do teach English as a Foreign Language, currently this is in online classes but I hope to teach classes in person in the near future (not in person during au pairing but occasionally online classes that will fit around my schedule as an au pair)
