Hello!
I am an eighteen year old girl from Finland. I have just graduated from Töölö High School and I am taking a leap year before starting university in Finland. I am currently taking a first aid course to further my abilities. I have experience babysitting my cousins (ages 5 and 2) and leading a summer camp, so will be fully equipped to take care of children.
I have lived in the U.S. for two years and I love traveling and also learning new languages. In my Finnish school, I got the best possible grade in the English final exam (ylioppilaskoe in Finnish), thus I am able to teach english if that is what you are looking for.
I like cleaning and cooking meals from different countries and cultures. I do bake also and I make the world’s tastiest chocolate chip cookies! I also used to play soccer and ultimate frisbee. I very much enjoy hiking and going outdoors.

I am very talkative and social when I get used to the new environment and people. Being talkative and sociable, I quickly form connections with both children and older individuals, fostering a nurturing and supportive environment for everyone around me.
I would love to become an Au Pair because it would allow me to travel and learn about other cultures and people. In university, I would like to study psychology and Au Pairing would allow me to gain valuable childcare experience. It would offer the chance to learn about child development firsthand.
I also want to become an Au Pair, because I obviously love children and actually have two little sisters myself. I have a big family and many baby cousins that I babysit and see on the regular.
I am a strong Au Pair candidate because growing up with two younger sisters and a large extended family has instilled in me a deep sense of responsibility and care towards children of all ages, which I carry with me in every interaction. I am taking a first aid course, I have experience working with children and I am very responsible. These are some of the reasons why I would be the perfect person to Au Pair in your family!
