Dear Host Family, My name is Peace Justine from Uganda, I was raised in a family of 6 and that’s me, my mother and my 4 siblings, unfortunately my father passed on when I was 15. later on we were joined by my aunty who has twin daughters and a son. I am the first born in the family and my siblings’ well being has been always my priority. I studied and graduated in Bachelors of Arts in Social Sciences in 2024. As a first daughter in the family, I have always taken care of my siblings since mum has not been always home but in different parts of the country because she is a business lady leaving the home in my hands to take proper care of. I want to become an au pair because first and foremost most, the wholehearted love I have for children and I have always passionately enjoyed working with children and find it rewarding to help and see them learn and grow. In addition to that, I have previous experience working as a nanny and babysitter, this experience has made me love kids more and more, their angelic smile always make me happy and spending much time with them is the best decision ever. I am kind, hardworking patient, and responsible, and enjoy spending my time creating engaging children activities.
Living with a host family will not only extend my childcare experience but also cultural exchange, I have the desire in learning the new culture and lifestyle as I teach mine. I love traveling so definitely I see it as a chance to travel and experience new environments. I have experience of 3000+ hours in childcare and I am willing to expand this beautiful experience.
