Hi Host Family! Hi kids!
My name's Sofia, I’m your future au pair from Italy. I'm very happy to have the opportunity and be able to write this letter for you to know my life a little more!
I'm 22 years old, I live in a small town in Tuscany, Italy.
I still live at home with my mum, 3 sisters and 2 cats. I would love talking more about them during our calls.
Do you want to know why I want to become an Au Pair? There are several reasons but the most important reason, of course, is that I really love children. I love seeing how they develop and learn new things every day.
I want to meet new people, with different personalities since I feel like that would help me with my life going on. Kids make me feel grateful, happy and I feel really comfortable around them.
Anyway, I already have experience with kids: I was an aupair few years ago in a wonderful family in California and I’ve done volunteering in a kindergarten in New Zealand, so I know what it means staying home taking care of children! I also want to grow as a person, I want to be more mature and I want to improve all my skills.
It's so hard to write about oneself, I wuold like to describe myslef and my interests a lot better than as I did, but I don't want to bore you. I really want to talk to you and your kids, so that we can get know us better and hopefully we will discover that we are perfect for each other!
