Who am I?
I'm Milla, an adventurous 19-year-old who wants to explore the world! I am a creative, adaptable, and caring individual with a deep passion for both artistic expression and nurturing a safe environment for children. My interests span a wide range—from drawing, painting, crafting and crocheting to photography and horseback riding—allowing me to bring creativity and excitement into everyday activities. I also love cooking and baking, which makes me eager to share fun, hands-on experiences with children, whether it’s trying new recipes or crafting together. In my free time, I enjoy reading, going for peaceful strolls in nature, watching classic films, and exploring cozy cafés, all of which reflect my appreciation for both quiet moments and cultural experiences. I am goal-oriented, optimistic, and responsible, always striving to support those around me with kindness and enthusiasm. As an aspiring fashion designer, I understand the importance of creativity, patience, and adaptability—qualities that I bring into every role. Most importantly, I value creating a safe, encouraging space where children can learn, grow, and explore the world with confidence. I'm also very interested in languages and would be open to learn or get better at a new language!
Why do I want to become an Au Pair and why I think that you should consider me to be hosted?
I want to become an Au Pair because I genuinely enjoy creating a nurturing and enriching environment for children. My passion for creativity—whether it’s drawing, painting, crafting, crocheting, or photography—allows me to bring engaging activities into their daily routines, helping them explore their own imagination and self-expression. I also love cooking and baking, which gives me the opportunity to introduce children to fun, hands-on experiences in the kitchen. My adventurous side, from horseback riding and surfing to skateboarding, enables me to keep up with active and energetic kids while encouraging them to embrace new challenges with confidence.
Beyond activities, I appreciate the beauty of nature, quiet strolls, and cultural experiences like watching old films or visiting cafés. I believe these interests help me create well-balanced and meaningful moments with children—whether it’s sharing stories, exploring the outdoors, or simply engaging in thoughtful conversation. As someone who is goal-oriented, optimistic, and adaptable, I approach challenges with patience and enthusiasm, ensuring that I provide both structure and warmth in a child's life. My dream of becoming a fashion designer has taught me the importance of creativity, discipline, and self-expression—qualities I hope to pass on to the children I care for. Most importantly, I value a safe and supportive environment where kids feel comfortable to grow, learn, and explore the world with curiosity and confidence.
Why I qualify for the position:
I am a dependable, adaptable, and caring individual with a strong dedication to creating a safe and nurturing space for children. My creativity allows me to engage kids in enjoyable and enriching activities. My adventurous nature helps me connect with active children and encourage their confidence. With a goal-driven, optimistic, and enthusiastic mindset, I strive to bring both structure and warmth to daily routines while embracing the opportunity to immerse myself in your family's culture and experiences. I'm still a young person who would love to be given a chance and opportunity, to embrace the world, others and their culture. I want to help people, inspire them, support them and see the world through a different, positive perspective. I have a TEFL (Teach English in a Foreign Language) certificate of 120 hours.
