Becoming an au pair in France is a dream I’ve had for a long time. I’ve always been drawn to French language and culture — I started learning French in school and have continued studying it because I truly love it. Living with a host family in France would give me the perfect opportunity to improve my language skills, experience daily life in a new culture, and grow personally. After two wonderful years as an au pair in the United States, I’ve realized how much I enjoy being part of a family, supporting children as they grow, and building meaningful connections. I’m excited to bring everything I’ve learned into this new chapter and to continue learning, exploring, and giving the best of myself in France.

I’ve been working with children for nearly 4 years in different settings since 2021. In Mexico, I worked as an English teacher with students from kindergarten through 3rd grade, which taught me how to support children’s learning with creativity and patience. I’ve also done babysitting for children ranging from 2 months old to 10 years old, both in Mexico and as an au pair in the U.S. These experiences have helped me become confident in caring for children of different ages, understanding their needs, and creating a safe, loving environment where they can grow and feel supported.

As an au pair, my main expectation is to feel welcomed as part of the family — like a big sister to the children and a trusted support for the parents. I value open communication, mutual respect, and a warm, positive environment. It’s also important to me that personal space is respected, as I believe this helps maintain a healthy balance in the home. I hope to find a family who enjoys cultural exchange and is happy to share their way of life with me, while also being open to mine. I look forward to helping with the children’s daily routines, supporting their growth, and building a strong bond with them. I also hope to continue learning French, explore the local culture, and grow through this experience.
