Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to apply for the role of a nanny and caregiver in your home. My name is Susan A. and I possess a bachelor’s degree from a Nigerian University with excellent communication and organizational skills.

I like to become your kids nanny because I love children and I like spending time with them, also, I enjoy taking care of elder family members and would like to help others in this way. I consider myself as a kind and caring person, and so, I hate to see people suffer, which is why I always do everything within my capacity to alleviate the stress of others when I get the opportunity to. On top of my key qualities, I worked as an Au Pair on a part time basis, especially during the holiday periods while I was still in school. My main duty and work responsibility was to provide high-quality physical and emotional care and assistance to three (3) children. I also Prepared and served daily meals, maintained household and children’s room cleaned and provided a safe and secure environment for them. I also played with children, attended their school’s inter-house sport parties on behalf of their parents, helped with their homework, worked closely and communicated with parents to ensure that their needs were met.

I deserve to be considered for this role because I have the experience and skills required. This experience has helped me to develop multiple important abilities required to successfully execute the job. Not only I learned how to remain calm in stressful situations but I also significantly improved my time management skills and acquired the ability to lead and coordinate a group of individuals. I am a native English speaker with a basic knowledge of French, I am also looking forward to learning more languages.

I am aware that families trust their children and elders with the nannies/caregivers. It is not easy to trust your loved ones in the hands of strangers, and that is why I am the right person because I am very trustworthy. I also make sure that I prioritize the safety of those under my care. In as much as caring for children and elderly comes with a lot of responsibilities, it is also exciting and fun too and I love everything that comes with it. I may not have a paper qualification for this role but I have the experience which I have built up over time, plus, I learn very fast too and would like to be at least, given a consideration.
