My name is Eda. I am 25 years old and I'm from Türkiye.

Firstly, I will give you some background information on my studies. I graduated from the Psychology Department of Bilim University last year. I worked in a hospital as an Intern Psychologist when I was a 4th grade student at the University.
After my graduation, I went to Madrid/Spain thanks to Erasmus Internship Programme. I was involved in a 3-Month Academic Study in the field of Applied Psychology at Complutense University of Madrid.

The next year, I came to Austria to learn German as part of the Erasmus+ Volunteering project and now I am still working as a volunteer at a school in Austria and will continue to work until June.
My job at school is to help children between the ages of 5 and 14 while they study, and I even give them English, Turkish and knitting lessons on some days of the week.
I realy like spend time with children, Their fascinating and different perspective from us adults always surprises me and increases my interest in them.

My aim during these gap years, during which I take a break from my education, is to speak German fluently and to gain new experiences that will help me a lot in my future career as a graduate psychologist.

I can speak English fluently and basic level of German(somewhere between A2 and B1), and I'm still trying to improve my German.

Apart from my educational background, I would describe myself as a person who likes to learn and explore new things. I am open minded, ambitious, friendly and social person. I like communicating with people and helping them, I guess it’s one of the advantages of being a Psychologist. I also like to discover different cultures and learning new languages, especially i’m really interested in German Language, I want to learn it very well.
I used to paint in my high school years and I think I'm good at painting and i've been knitting in my spare time for the past few years.
Knitting some toys with a crochet hook and yarn is my biggest hobby(It’s called ‘Amigurimi’). I am quite talented in handicrafts.
