Dear Future Host Family,

I am a 20-year-old from the beautiful country of South Africa. I am writing to express my heartfelt interest in becoming your Au Pair and Nanny. I have always had a deep love for children and families, and I believe this opportunity is the perfect way to combine that passion with my dream of exploring the world and connecting with people from different cultures.

Over the years, I’ve developed strong leadership and caregiving skills. I served in children’s church, where I enjoyed guiding and caring for kids in a fun and nurturing environment. I also had the honor of being a school president, which taught me responsibility, empathy, and the importance of being a positive role model. In addition, I’ve worked as a part-time tutor, receptionist, and currently work as a medical receptionist while also managing my own small business—all experiences that have strengthened my communication, patience, and organizational abilities.

I would be incredibly grateful if you considered hosting me, because I am not only responsible and hardworking, but I genuinely care about the well-being and development of children. I understand the importance of creating a safe, fun, and structured environment where children feel loved and supported. You can trust me to treat your children and home with the same care and respect I would my own family.

I also love to cook and truly enjoy preparing meals for others. Whether it’s trying new international recipes or whipping up comforting home-style dishes, I find joy in creating delicious food that brings people together. I’d be happy to share meals from my culture and also learn to make dishes your family loves!

What draws me most to this experience is the chance to become a meaningful part of your family’s everyday life while immersing myself in a new culture. One of my personal dreams is to visit 30 countries before I turn 30, and becoming an Au Pair is a step toward that goal in the most purposeful and rewarding way possible.

Experiência com crianças

I have always enjoyed working with children and being part of family life. Through my involvement in children’s church, I’ve learned how to create fun, safe, and engaging environments for kids of different ages. I’ve also worked as a part-time tutor, helping children with their studies and offering them support and encouragement—skills that translate well into being a patient and responsible caregiver.

Becoming an Au Pair and Nanny abroad excites me because it combines two of my greatest passions: caring for children and exploring new cultures. I’m passionate about family life, and I believe being part of a household abroad would give me the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally. It’s a meaningful way to connect with people, make a difference in children’s lives, and gain a deeper understanding of the world.
