Dear Future Host Family,

My name is Gurpinder but you can call me Guri (or anything fun your little ones come up with). I’m originally from beautiful Punjab and I’m currently living in New Zealand studying Early Childhood Education because working with children is something I’ve always felt deeply passionate about.

Why do I want to become an Au Pair & Nanny? Honestly, because I love being around children their wild imaginations, their funny questions, their big hearts. I’ve babysat my cousins, helped in daycare settings and survived toddler tea parties (with invisible tea ?). Being part of a child’s daily life and growth brings me joy like nothing else. And I’m not just in it for the giggles I genuinely want to contribute to your family’s routine, create a safe and fun environment for your little ones and be the extra pair of hands (and heart) you can rely on.

So why should you host me?
Well… I’m reliable, kind, a little goofy (kids love it!) and super respectful of your home and routines. I’m also great with pets, love helping with homework and have a growing inner chef. I take my responsibilities seriously but I never forget that childhood should be full of joy, songs, silly dances and safe adventures.

I believe I’m a great fit for this role because I’m currently training to be a professional early childhood teacher so I not only love what I do I’m also learning the latest in child development and care. Your children won’t just be entertained they’ll be nurtured with empathy, creativity and care.
