I am Maureen, recently turned 27 years old. I have completed university here in Nairobi, Kenya. I am happy and very excited to submit my request for becoming you next Au pair. I am very patient and energetic person who is ready to assist with taking care of your children. I am playful and responsible in taking care of the children. I do this by ensuring that I am aware of where the children are at all the time by keeping an eye on them and ensuring that that play safely on the play ground but also when they are playing indoors.
As young girl growing up with many uncles, aunts in the extended family, I have assisted with taking care of my brothers/sisters and aunts children while they go. During this period, I have assisted with preparing of the meals, homework assistance, taking the children to playground and supporting with light household chores. Moreover, I have also formally taken care of children both as a nanny and child minder for none family member hosts. Here I supported mainly in baby sitting, picking and dropping kids from school, cleaning children rooms and making food for the children while parents are out working.
I would like to be considered for an Au pair opportunity at your house because, I can control and take care of children and help them get ready for school. I can assist with preparing meals, disinfect bottles, change diapers, and also take them to the playground. I do have extensive experience in child supervision and housekeeping duties. In addition, from the previous host families, they consider me as safe person who ensure healthy and conducive environment for the child development. Upon completing my Au pair period, I would love to go back to Kenya and share my experience with my family and friends. Thereafter, I plan to start a childcare center as there is a lot of demand for this in Nairobi. Hence with the acquired experience and skills from your country I would be able to start this childcare centre in Kenya.
