We extend our warmest welcome to all of you who are considering joining our family as an au pair. We are excited about the opportunity to find a caring and compassionate individual to provide support and companionship to our beloved mother, Mary, and to become a part of our close-knit family.

Our family consists of Mary and her four children, Evelyn, Darlene, Cleo, and Ella. Mary is 85 years old (turning 86 in March), and while she is still quite independent, she has had some health challenges, including a stroke a few years ago, which has left her with some balance issues and mild vertigo. Mary can handle most daily tasks like cooking, cleaning, and bathing but may need occasional assistance, especially with her medications and errands.

We are a family that values togetherness, and we believe that welcoming an Aupair into our home will not only provide Mary with the support she needs but also create a positive and enriching experience for everyone involved. Mary lives in the nation's capital, Washington, D.C., just 40 minutes from the iconic Capitol Building and numerous other tourist attractions. As her children, we live approximately 30 minutes from her home, and due to our work commitments, it is essential to have someone reliable and caring to stay with her.

Mary has been experiencing mild dementia symptoms, primarily manifested as increased anxiety but not severe memory loss. She has also been diagnosed with high blood pressure and requires medication for that, as well as medication for her blood sugar, which she sometimes hesitates to take. Our primary goal is to ensure Mary remains active and engaged and receives companionship, whether it's through meaningful conversations, short outings to the grocery store, or enjoying activities like going for walks. She also has an affinity for the casino, although it's unsure whether this will be possible.

Living in Washington, D.C., provides a unique opportunity for our au pair to explore a vibrant city with a rich history and numerous tourist attractions, such as the Smithsonian Museums, the Lincoln Memorial, and the National Mall. We encourage our au pair to take advantage of these opportunities and immerse themselves in the culture and experiences that our nation's capital has to offer.

We believe that an au pair can play a vital role in enhancing the quality of Mary's life and providing her with the care and attention she deserves. We are looking for an Aupair who is not only skilled and responsible but also compassionate, patient, and understanding.
