Job Title: Live-in Carer for Behiye Ali 91 year old female

Location: Yesilirmak, North Cyprus

Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable live-in carer to provide 24-hour care and support to Behiye Ali, a Turkish Cypriot 91 year old female. Behiye is a warm-hearted individual who requires assistance due to a weak left leg. The carer will have the opportunity to live with Behiye in her small house, with accommodation, bills, and food provided. The primary responsibilities include cooking, cleaning, meal preparation, and assisting Behiye with gentle stretches daily. The carer should be fluent in Turkish or Greek (she knows a little English too) as Behiye can only communicate in these languages. This is a full-time position, starting at the end of February.

Responsibilities:
- Provide round-the-clock care and support to Behiye Ali in her daily activities
- Assist Behiye with mobility using a walker
- Communicate effectively with Behiye in Turkish or Greek
- Prepare and cook healthy meals for Behiye, considering any dietary requirements
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in Behiye's living space
- Help Behiye with gentle stretches and exercises as recommended by healthcare professionals
- Collaborate with Behiye's children and family members to ensure her well-being - her children who are now older also live in the village and visit daily and will be there to support
- Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for Behiye at all times

Requirements:
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related role is preferred
- Fluent in Turkish or Greek to effectively communicate with Behiye
- Compassionate, patient, and understanding towards Behiye's needs
- Ability to assist with mobility using a walker
- Excellent cooking and meal preparation skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Respectful of Behiye's privacy and family dynamics
- Must be available to start at the end of February
