Hello! We are looking for an au pair to join our family! We are a family of 5 (Peter (36) , Veronika (33), Julija (7), Vesna (5) and Mihaela (3).
Our family loves to spend time together, that is why we like to take time for family trips and explore nature around us. We like family sports such as swimming, hiking, rollerblading, bicycling, skiing, ice skating, ski running, horse riding,hockey… Me and Peter also like to play volleyball. Peter also plays football and different racket games. In my spare time I like to sew and sing- in the choir or to the children, music is important part of my life. We like to read with the children, cook with them and include them in family chores. We would include au pair that will join us in all of our activities (if she/he would like to) and treat her as part of our family!
I am a montessori teacher for children 0-6 years and like to prepare montessori environment and activities for my children. I would love to share my experience and knowledge if our au pair would be interested.

Our village Posavec is very close to the nearest beautiful old town Radovljica (8km), Bled (12km- lake with island) and capital Ljubljana (45km). Close to our house is bus (2 min walk) and train station(8 min walk).

During au pair stay with our family I (Veronika) will be working from 8.oo till 13.00. I have montessori workshops for children that are homeschooled, as well as for Julija. Mihaela and Vesna are staying in kindergarted from 8.00 till 15.00. I would like that au pair helps me with the children, as their big sister, when I have some chores to do or takes one or two children when one of my children needs some one on one time with me. Mostly we will be spending time together, as a family. If the weather is ok we spend most of our time outside (we have a lovely big garden with a big playground and nice nature surrounds us) so it would be nice if our au pair is an outdoor person. It would be also nice for me that my children hear and learn foreign language through everyday life, that is one of the reasons we decided for an au pair from foreign country. We preffer German or English but are open to other languages too.

We expect our au pair is included in household chores as any family member. She doesn't need to cook (only if she would like to prepare something authentic from her country), only on rare occasions prepare a simple meal for girls if we will be absent.
Our family life is very flexible so we don`t need that the au pair is present specific hours in the day. We are very adjustable, if au pair wants to do some sightseeing or other activities by her wish, anytime. Everything can be arranged! We also love to discover Slovenia as a family and of course our au pair/ big sister will be invited to join us any time. :)

Logement de l'Au Pair

Au pair will have her own room, we just renewed two new rooms in the house. One will be montessori prepared playroom and the other au pair room. The room for au pair is very nice and light, with bed, wardrobes, table. Au pair can share bathroom with us (one floor up) or use her own bathroom in the basement (one floor down), which we only use to do laundry.
