However, due to our work commitments, we will be relocating back to São Paulo in 2024. We used to live there 2 years ago.

Au Pair Responsibilities and Activities:

1. Childcare:

- Supervising the children's daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Assisting with morning routines, including dressing, brushing teeth, and preparing breakfast.
- Engaging the children in age-appropriate educational activities, such as reading, arts and crafts, and puzzles.
- Organizing and participating in recreational activities like games, outings, and playdates.
- Helping with homework and school-related tasks.
- Setting and enforcing appropriate behavioral guidelines.
- Assisting with nighttime routines, including bathing, reading bedtime stories, and ensuring the children go to bed on time.

2. Meal Preparation:

- Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children (when needed)
- Assisting children during meal times, especially Maitê (2y) who might need help

3. Light Household Duties:

- Tidying up the children's rooms and play areas.
- Doing the children's laundry.
- Keeping track of the children's belongings and ensuring they are organized.
- Occasionally helping with general household chores, such as vacuuming or dishwashing, especially if they are related to the children's activities.

4. Transportation:

- Safely transporting the children to and from school, extracurricular activities, or playdates.
- Accompanying the children on outings or trips, ensuring their safety during travel.

5. Cultural Exchange:

- Sharing aspects of your own culture, language, and traditions with the family.
- Participating in family activities and outings to immerse yourself in the host country's culture.

6. Communication:

- Regularly updating the parents on the children's activities, moods, and any concerns.
- Attending periodic meetings with the parents to discuss the children's progress, needs, and any adjustments to the routine.

7. Personal Development:

- Using free time to attend language classes, explore the host country, or engage in personal hobbies and interests.
- Building a network with other au pairs or locals for social and emotional support.

8. Weekend Beach Trips:

Our family enjoys spending weekends at the beach. As our au pair, you are more than welcome to join us on these trips. It's a great opportunity for relaxation, bonding with the family, and experiencing the local beach culture.
