My name is Malinka and I am an 18 year-old Spanish and French girl living in Barcelona! I speak fluently Spanish, French, Catalan and English, and I know some Italian. Starting in October 2024 I would love to be an AuPair and help taking care of kids! Since very little, I am part of a Scouts group, so I have always been around young kids preparing activities or games and taking care of them. Because of that, this summer I will be obtaining my Leisure Time Monitor, a diploma that proves you are qualified for working with kids in summer camps, hotels, extracurriculars... Since I know 4 languages, I can speak or teach any of them to your children so they can immerse in a knew language directly from a native speaking person. I am a very active and sportive person: I did synchronized swimming, athletics and now triathlon! I also am very responsible and organized.
I have always lived in Barcelona, but both of my parents are French (this is why I have a double nationality, French and Spanish!). I speak to my mom in French, to my dad and my sister in Spanish, and since we live in Barcelona I speak to all of my friends in Catalan. My dad works in finance and my mom is a translator, and my little sister is 13 years old so she is still in school.
In my free time I tend to do sport related activities, such as swimming, running or taking long walks. I also dedicate a lot of my time to my Scouts Group: every Saturday afternoon we reunite to do activities.
Since I have always been in a Scouts Group, I have always been surrounded by kids, preparing activities for them or simply taking care of them. Also, I have a little cousin that is now 2 years old, who I have babysitted many times!
Since I am very little I have spoken French, Spanish and Catalan. In school I started learning English and I obtained my Advanced Certificate (C1) last year. I have also taken two years of Italian in high school.
