My name is Martha, I’m 22 years old, and I come from Harare, Zimbabwe. I'm a warm, responsible, bubbly and loving soul. I enjoy swimming, hiking, riding a bike, and traveling, and I’m always excited to try new things and connect with people from different backgrounds.

Why I want to become an au pair?
Becoming an au pair has been a long-time goal of mine because it combines several things I truly care about: caring for children, learning about new cultures, and growing as an individual. I see this opportunity as a chance to step out of my comfort zone, improve my language skills, and experience everyday life in a different country. More than anything, I look forward to forming meaningful connections with your family and supporting you in your daily routines.

Why you should host me?
I’m a warm, respectful, and trustworthy person who takes responsibility seriously. I genuinely care about children and their well-being, and I understand how important it is to create a safe, fun, and supportive environment for them. I stay with my sister, her husband, and my two busy nephews from the time they were in their mother's tummy till now one age 4years and the little one 8 months. Trust me I know how that goes. I will do my best to integrate into your family, help with household tasks, and offer consistency and kindness to your children. I see this role not as just a job, but as a shared experience, one where we can all learn from each other and create a positive impact on one another’s lives.

Why I’m qualified for this position?
I have experience caring for children through babysitting, helping with nephews, nieces and volunteering. These experiences have taught me patience, creativity, and how to adapt to different situations. I am organized, reliable, and happy to help with tasks such as preparing meals, assisting with homework, or planning fun and educational activities. I also understand the importance of open communication and respect when living in someone else’s home, and I’m committed to being a helpful and considerate presence in your household.

Expériences en garde d'enfants

While I have not officially worked as an au pair yet, I have gained valuable childcare experience by helping take care of my younger nephews, nieces and other children in my extended family including volunteering. I’ve often been responsible for helping with homework, preparing simple meals, organizing playtime, and making sure the children are safe, happy, and supported. These experiences have taught me how to be patient, understanding, and adaptable, important qualities when caring for children of different ages and personalities.

I would love to become an au pair abroad because it’s a chance to combine two of my biggest passions: working with children and exploring new cultures. I’m especially interested in Austria because I want to improve my German and learn more about Austrian daily life, traditions, and values. Living with a host family will give me the opportunity to be fully immersed in the culture while also contributing meaningfully to family life.

Being an au pair is not just about travel for me, it’s about connection, growth, and learning. I look forward to creating a strong bond with the children, supporting the parents, and becoming a reliable part of a family during my stay.
