Hello!

I am Olivia, an energetic high school student from Finland. I will turn 18 years old in June.

I want to become an au pair, because it seems like a fun and educational experience. I know that I will learn a lot and develop as a person.

With the au pair position, I am looking forward to gaining child care experience. Not only is it advantageous in the work life, it is also good practice, since I want to become a mother in the future.

I am both responsible and cheerful. I do not have prior experience of taking care of children in a household, but I have led children’s sport camps and even worked as an assistant teacher. Most importantly, I enjoy spending time with children.

I speak English fluently. In case you wish for your children to learn English, I can certainly help as an au pair. I am not a native speaker, but I have perfected my English skills since I was little. What’s more, my English is easier to understand than a native speaker’s because I enunciate my words. I myself am eager to develop my Spanish skills. Since I am from a bilingual family, I am very much used to mixing and switching languages. Due to this, I am confident that both your family and I can benefit from my stay: your kids can learn English and I can improve my Spanish.

In addition, I am used to taking care of pets, since we have two dogs at home. I have experience of staying abroad as well, as I have been on a summer exchange in Mexico and stayed in a summer school in Málaga, Spain.

I bring an optimistic and joyful vibe as an au pair, while still acting responsibly. I will gladly help in any way I can. I hope I can be seen as a member of the family, as a fun and caring older sister.
