Hello! My name is Amélie I'm 19 and I am currently living in New Zealand but am originally from the UK. I currently work full time but have decided I need a change of pace. For as long as I can remember I have always loved looking after children and as soon as I turned 14 I got my first every baby-sitting job for a family friend, from their my childcare career just kept on growing. I have looked after the children of about 5-6 different families my longest job being 3 years of looking after two of the sweetest boys.

I think the reason I want to become and Au Pair is because of how much precious experience I think it would give me in childcare as in the future I plan on studying psychology and early childhood development at university. Au Pairing also gives me the opportunity to travel doing something I love. My family is from the UK and lots of them still live there so being close to them would be incredible.

I think you should pick me as I have plenty of experience looking after children of all ages, I'm kind, I am punctual, and I do actually care about the wellbeing and care of your child/children. I'm respectful of your families traditions and will be there to assist you in any way I can.

My years of experience with children and also my love for children have helped me learn valuable skills in caring for your little ones! I'm capable of multitasking, and helping wherever I am needed.
