My name is Ammar, an Iraqi migrant residing in Germany since 2015. My journey in caregiving started in 2012 when I unexpectedly met a childhood friend in Turkey who had become quadriplegic after an accident. I cared for him until 2014, when he immigrated to the U.S., while I returned to Iraq before eventually migrating to Germany. This experience made me realize the profound impact of caregiving, and I have since dedicated myself to developing my skills in this field.

Over the years, I have obtained seven certifications from both American and German institutions in elderly and special needs care, in addition to certifications in massage therapy and grief counseling. Currently, I am actively working in the caregiving sector, applying my knowledge and experience to support those in need.

I am deeply passionate about working with the elderly, as I believe they deserve compassionate care, companionship, and dignity in their later years. Living with and caring for an elderly person is not just a job for me; it is a meaningful way to give back to society while creating a warm and supportive environment for my host.
