Dear host family,
my name is Matilde and I am from Italy. I am currently a senior in high school and I’m gonna be graduating in July 2023.
When I was a junior in high school I spent an exchange year in Texas and I loved it so much I decided I wanted to come back!
During that year I also had the chance to babysit a sweet little boy, but that wasn’t my first experience with children. I previously worked at a summer camp and currently I am volunteering, spending my Saturdays with kids of various ages (5-12) playing games and doing different activities.
Other things I like to do in my free time are reading, listening to music, hanging out with my boyfriend (over FaceTime), watching movies and shows on Netflix and playing flag football. I also love dancing and horseback riding!
I think being an au pair is a great opportunity for me to experience again the American culture and lifestyle that I loved, to become part of an American family and to spend time with kids, getting even more experience in childcare!
