Hey! My name is Ashley. I am an eighteen year old Canadian citizen. I come from a fairly big family, with two sisters and a brother. My parents are both teachers and eventually that is the route that I want to take as well! I have always enjoyed babysitting and caring for children, whether that be in more of a formal babysitting/working setting or even just entertaining the younger kids of family friends. Growing up in a busy household, I have always been able to fluidly manage and organise my schedule in order to prevent any overlap or confusion and feel as though this is a trait that will benefit me as an Au Pair when it is no longer just my schedule I have to manage! I also have found that growing up involved in a variety of competitive sports has helped me develop resiliency as well as a strong work ethic which has benefited me greatly.

Expériences en garde d'enfants

I am currently working as an Au Pair in London and have been since August. I am with a wonderful family but they are leaving in July! I am looking for a new place to live this August and I would like to be around a new culture. I feel like travelling and exploring is essential to gaining a better perspective on the world. I love to travel and have always prioritised it, and I feel like the opportunity to do more than just tour an area and actually be able to integrate into the culture for an extended period of time is something that I would love to experience. As someone who grew up in the same small town all my life, I knew that I wanted to see more of the world before I continued my studies into university. I truly feel that it is so important to continually keep stepping outside of your comfort zone and not always following the traditional route.
