Hello! I am 21-year-old English girl named Freya. I am studying economics in my final year at the University of Bristol in the UK. I will graduate in September 2024 and then plan to au pair throughout the next year.
I was first inspired to become an au pair when I was a child as au pairs looked after me when I was little. As a child I had so much fun being looked after by my au pairs and I feel I would really enjoy bringing this joy to another family. I love family and children so the lifestyle of au pairing is something I would thrive in. I would be excited to entertain the children whilst being and responsible figure they can take guidance from. I am keen to become bilingual, particularly in Italian, as I have an Italian family and would love to be able to communicate with them in their native tongue. I have started learning Italian in my spare time and am finding it interesting.
You would benefit from hosting me as any influence I would have on the children would be positive as I am a kind and well-mannered individual. I am very tidy and enjoy cleaning up. I am sociable, so I would be keen to get to know the family, but I would also enjoy being independent and exploring the area when I am not needed. I am well educated and would be happy to teach the children English while I learn Italian if this is something that would interest you. I can also help them with their homework. I have been driving for three years now and have no points on my licence or any claims on my insurance. I am happy to look after children of all ages. I also enjoy cooking, so I would have no problems cooking for the family.
I am a middle child with two sisters. While growing up, I took care of my younger sister. Growing up with siblings has made me an empathetic person. I have also looked after other children.
