I'm Ketevan, and I come from the beautiful country of Georgia, where rich culture and warm hospitality abound. With a deep passion for childcare, I bring love and care to every child I meet. I am a very friendly and outgoing individual who embraces life with enthusiasm and appreciation for every moment. Deeply passionate about mindfulness, yoga, and environmentalism, I seek to live in harmony with nature and cultivate awareness in all aspects of my life. Additionally, I am a hardworking and highly responsible person. I enjoy exploring new opportunities in various aspects of my life and I love taking on challenges. I firmly believe that love is our essential mission.

My family is very important to me. I come from a close-knit family consisting of my mom, my dad, my brother, and myself, the youngest. I also have two cats, Smokey and Kato. I was born and raised in the Adjara region (western part of Georgia). I left my hometown at the age of 18 to continue studying in high school in the capital city, Tbilisi, and since then, I have basically lived in Tbilisi. My parents are teachers, and they live in my hometown, so we see each other on vacation. However, we still stay connected, and we talk almost every day. In Tbilisi, I live with my brother. He is five years older than me and is my number one support. He works as a lecturer at an Eastern European university and also works remotely for a French company as a CRA.

In 2021, I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Public Health from Tbilisi State Medical University. During the same year, I successfully passed the Teachers Certification Exams, earning a certificate to teach nature science to students from 1st to 6th grade.

I have had a loving experience working with children. Last summer, I worked with a 5-year-old, focusing on preschool education to enhance her teaching and memory skills. We spent at least 10 hours a week together, engaging in educational games, discussing flora and fauna, painting, playing, and working with clay. It was a truly enjoyable and fascinating experience.

From September to January, I babysat an 8-month-old girl. Sometimes, I stayed overnight alone with her when her parents had busy work schedules. My duties included feeding, diapering, playing, tidying up, and naptime. Then, upon learning about this program, I realized I needed to gain more experience. So I started an internship in a kindergarten as a teacher's assistant, working 4 hours every weekday from 9:30 to 13:30. My duties included feeding, diapering, playing, and facilitating the nap routine for a group of at least 4 toddlers.

I am drawn to the opportunity of becoming an au pair as it provides a unique platform for fostering meaningful connections with both the host family and the local community. I am eager to contribute to the well-being and development of the children under my care while also learning and growing personally through this enriching experience. Additionally, I am excited about the prospect of immersing myself in a new culture while also sharing my own customs and traditions. I hope to match with a family where love is at the core and where I can truly feel like a part of something significant.
