I come from a large family: I have two siblings, an older brother, and a 14-year-old sister; I also have 15 cousins, who live on the same street as me.
Since I was a child, I have been used to spending a lot of time with children, by taking care of them and babysitting them, considering that both my parents and my uncles work full time.
I had a pretty good childhood, I was never bored 'cause I always had children to play with and since we live in the countryside we also had a lot of space to use to practice the most varied activities.
This is why I consider myself very lucky: it is important to grow up in a healthy, stimulating, and joyful environment.

As I was hinting before since I was 8 years old I started taking care of my sister who was just born: I changed her diaper, I made her play, I read her stories and when she was old enough to eat, I fed her.
In addition to her, I have taken care of two other small children in the past few years, but above all, I have babysat children from 2 to 15 years old.
In addition, I did a volunteer experience for less fortunate children who needed someone to look after them in the afternoon and help them with their homework.
Then, since I was 16, in every summer holiday, I work as a kid entertainer on a summer camping, where for 2 weeks we have to take care of 60 kids from 8 to 16 years old and organize games and activities to keep them entertained. In addition, we take them for walks in the mountains and let them play team sports to increase the harmony between them, which in my opinion is very important for children of that age.
Lastly, since I was 15 I have been a tutor for every kind of subjects to children and teenagers of all ages (from elementary to high school).

Not counting the experiences with children, I also worked for 3 years in different restaurants, here I was a waitress and bartender and I liked it a lot because it allowed me to be around people. In addition, I worked in a language school, where I taught English and in addition, I had a volunteer experience in a naturalistic oasis, where we had to preserve the flora and fauna. Right now I'm working as a food delivery rider.

As you can see, I am a person full of interests, which is why I like to spend my free time in the most productive way possible. I really like playing sports, all kinds of sports. Throughout my life, I have practiced swimming, volleyball, basketball, break-dance, modern dance, kick-boxing, roller skating, gym, snowboarding, athletics, and running. Furthermore, the school allowed me to get closer to the most varied sports such as rugby (even if it is not for me hahaha), but it also allowed me to make important experiences such as the first aid course and the self-defense course.
In addition to playing sports, I also like to do more creative activities such as playing instruments, painting and drawing, sewing, taking photos, reading, but also watching a good movie; but above all, I like to spend time with people, even just going out for an aperitif, having a picnic, or going for a walk in the mountains or on the beach: the important thing is socializing.
I like animals as well. Now I have a dog named Stella, she is an Australian shepherd and she is the most beautiful dog in the world, and I take her for a walk every day, so it wouldn't be a problem to take care of your four-legged friends too.

But my biggest passion are engines. I especially like motorbikes, in fact I own one and on weekends I love going for a ride in the mountains with my friends.
My dream would be to turn this passion of mine into my future job.
As already said before, at the moment I am a student, more specifically I attend the Mechanical Engineering course at Politecnico di Milano, one of the most prestigious universities in the world, but with the prestige, the cost also rises, so I decided to take a gap year for working, to be able to pay for my studies, and I thought that having an experience as an Au Pair, not only would give me the way to work, but also to fully immerse myself in a culture different from mine, learning about the various customs of this other country and visiting new places.

Last but not least, I want to live this experience with new people that I would like, one day, to be able to call "a second family".
