Dear Host Family,

My name is Maria and I am 18 years old. I live in San Fransico, California and have lived here my whole life. I am from Mexican and German descent. I am fluent in Spanish. I am currently in my last year of high school and am just waiting ot graduate and recive my diploma in the beginning of June. I am the oldest daugher in my immediate family, I have a younger sister and 5 older step siblings. My mother, Mariela and father, Edward are divordced and my mother remarried in 2021 to my step- father, Jose. My father is soon to be married in October. The divorce of my parents has definitely shaped the person I am today and I am so greatful for the people I've gained in my life, I love my family dearly. They are truly am huge part of my life. I also have a little tiny dog named Whisky that I love dearly.
I want to take the opportunity t to become an Au Pair, Nanny and/or Live-in tutor because I think it would be a great way to discover the world but also see the reality of life in another part of the world. One day, I would love to have a family of my own and being someone who can help a family would truly be a huge learning experience that I would truly love to have. Taking this chance to move across the world and discover life outside of the US would truly be an amazing journey.
