My name is Beth and I am a 28 year old Scottish citizen with a wealth of experience within education and child care. I have a BA (Hons) degree in Social Science, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Primary Education. I am a fully qualified teacher; I have my child-protection qualifications and I am trained in First Aid.

I am a highly motivated, caring and personable individual who is passionate about my own personal growth as well as supporting others, therefore I would love the opportunity to become an Au Pair/Nanny.
My passion for teaching and childcare is what motivates me to continuously seize opportunities whereby I can work with children and families. I believe I can make a positive difference to the lives of others. I can relate to children as both learners and individuals, and my strengths are in how nurturing, empathetic, and patient I can be, ensuring children are always safeguarded. My experience in teaching and childcare has provided me with the skills to support the optimum development and growth of children into unique, inspiring learners and people.

Additionally, I can cook, clean and look after pets. As I own property in my home country, I know how to take care of a household.

Expériences en garde d'enfants

I have worked in Scotland, Edinburgh as a Primary School Teacher for 4 years, whereby I have educated children from 3 - 12 years old. During the school holidays I have worked as a babysitter for children aged between 6 months to 14 years old.

I have lived and worked in Australia for 1 and a half years as an "Outside School Hour Care" educator and a Pre-Primary and Year 1 teacher. Most recently, I have just finished working in a remote, Indigenous community teaching Year 3-6 aboriginal children. Overall, I have a wealth of experience in educating and caring for a diverse range of children and my enthusiasm towards life, and my drive to support others can translate into a genuine desire to positively shape future generations.

I would love to become an Au Pair/Nanny abroad as I enjoy learning about new cultures and meeting new people. I would also like to dedicate time to learning a new language. As I am well-travelled, I have many friends in different countries and the opportunity to work and live close to them would also be a fantastic opportunity.
