I took care of my niece one-on-one every summer for 4 years and spent a lot of time with her while her parents were at work. This gave me a lot of experience in childcare.


Also, there is a 13 year age difference between my little sister and me. I've been the second mother to her since she was born. I took her to school, attended parent-teacher meetings, prepared her food, showed her around, helped her with her homework, taught her to ride a bike and swim. Most importantly, I always created space for her to talk to me about anything. As a psychologist, I have also worked with children from different age groups. This gave me a lot of experience in child care and education.

The idea of working abroad has been on my mind for a long time. I was waiting for favorable conditions to realize this dream of mine. I have been to USA and many European countries before, either to study a language or just to travel as a tourist. But living abroad is very different. I am confident now that I have gained sufficient education and professional experience and it will be a very meaningful life experience for me to continue my career and become an au pair. Meeting new people, getting to know different cultures, improving my language, earning my own money in a different country and doing all of are huge things that I always want. I want to become an au pair soon to win this. I think that my profession and my knowledge of English will give me a great advantage in this regard.
