Hello there, my name is Caira. I am one daughter of a family of six. I am super close to my extended family and am highly family orientated as well. I would describe myself as being empathetic, understanding, honest, imaginative, respectful and responsible. My Mum has a disability which made me realise what it is to be responsible and reflective, it also helped me see the strength needed to care for others. Growing up as a young carer has taught me to look at the world more fairly and with less judgement too.
I love to learn things, especially creative things so of course I am a recent graduate from the University of the Arts London (as of July 2025) with a BA in Performance Design and Practice. I am a really creative person who enjoys reading, learning languages, listening to music, singing, trying to dance, doing crafts, cooking and baking.

Expériences en garde d'enfants

From childhood I had always loved looking after others. Watching my Dad teach and my teachers throughout school impact so many young lives made me even more determined to go into childcare when I was older. In secondary school I became interested in learning about other cultures and languages from my international friends as well. I am currently learning Spanish, Korean, Portuguese and Mandarin too. I have also been really fortunate to travel to 7 countries and want to continue adding to my list. The reason why I want to become an au pair is because I love working with children. After graduating from sixth form/college I started babysitting and nannying around my area. I realised working with children is really calming and fulfilling for me and I learn so much about the world through meeting children as a nanny. To be able to combine this love for nannying with my passion for learning about other cultures and travelling would be an invaluable experience for me and hopefully your children too!
