My name is Marley, and I’ve been work-trading on the big island for the past few months learning about beekeeping. I have been babysitting since I was 14 years old, and I love the teaching and learning aspect that comes with spending time with children… I personally believe I learn from them just as much as they would from me:). It allows me to thrive creatively while also expanding my perspectives on the world.

Having fun and exploring creative sides is an important part of my caretaking method. Children deserve grace while they learn to navigate our ever changing world and those 2 things help to make that easier.
I am looking for a live-in position that has transportation because I would be moving from my work/trade housing to wherever you may be located.

Expériences en garde d'enfants

I have been babysitting since I was old enough to. In high school, I nannied during the summer for a family I grew very close with. When I went away to college, I was vetted and worked for a babysitting agency. I ended up working permanently with a family who I also grew very close with. Making genuine connections is important to me, and I do so as effective and safe as possible. I have been CPR and first aide certified a couple times, once for lifeguarding and then again for the babysitting agency. While my certifications have expired, I can renew.

I would like to continue this career path to help save money up and work on potential creative projects. We can learn so much from children, and it’s important to me to help kids feel safe and comfortable. Because I had not always felt this way growing up, I make sure that is the number 1 priority with children I take care of.

I love traveling and seeing the world which is why I would au pair or nanny anywhere in this amazing world!
