Dear Future Host Family,

My name is Ani , and I’m so excited to be writing to you! I’m a 22-year-old from the United States with over 15 years of experience caring for children—from neighborhood babysitting to classroom teaching and youth mentorship. This fall, I’ll be moving to Madrid to teach English in a local school through a part-time program, and I’m looking for a kind, welcoming family to join as a nanny or au pair in the afternoons.

From Monday to Thursday, I’ll be working from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., which leaves my afternoons free—and I would love to spend them supporting your family! Whether it’s helping with school pickups, playing games, tutoring English, preparing meals, or keeping things tidy around the house, I bring warmth, patience, and a genuine love for working with children. I’m open to both live-in and live-out arrangements, depending on your family’s needs.

What draws me to this opportunity most is the chance to build a meaningful relationship—not just with the children, but with your whole family. I believe in gentle, respectful communication, creating safe and joyful routines, and celebrating each child’s unique personality. I’m also more than happy to share my English language skills and American culture, while learning from yours in return.

Expériences en garde d'enfants

I was born and raised in Minneapolis as the oldest of four siblings, so caring for children has always come naturally to me. Babysitting was my very first job—I started out helping neighborhood families, which quickly turned into a true passion. When I moved to Chicago for university, I continued nannying part-time for several wonderful families, supporting children of all ages with homework help, creative play, and daily routines. I now live in Manhattan and continue working as a nanny here, balancing my love for childcare with my interest in education and global connection. Becoming a nanny or au pair abroad is a dream of mine because it blends the joy of caring for children with the excitement of cultural exchange. I’d love the opportunity to support a family while immersing myself in everyday Spanish life, sharing my language and experience, and learning from yours.
