Hi, my name is Leslie and I live in a small town in Michigan right next to the beach. I was born in the US but moved to Sweden when I was only a couple months old. I grew up in Sweden for seven years before my family decided to make their way back to California. For seven more years I lived in different parts of Northern California until my freshman year of high school we moved to the little town in Michigan I now live. Growing up the youngest kid in my family I always wanted a younger sibling, so much so that I would ask every birthday and Christmas. Unfortunately I never got the chance to become an older sister, but I always made do with helping out my friends family with their little ones. In fourth grade my best friend got a little brother and I immediately jumped at the chance to become a second older sister. Since then I have loved taking care of any children in the family. Most of my cousins have kids and I'm always offering to take care of them when I can. Most importantly my brother now has a son and a daughter on the way and I especially enjoy watching and spoiling my nefew. I think I would make a good Au pair because I really enjoy creating bonds with kids and caring for them, I also love seeing different parts of the world. After moving back to the US I have been wanting to go to different places and enjoy different countries. I think an opportunity like being an Au Pair would be perfect for me because both going to a different country and caring for children are things I would love to experience.
