Hello future au pair!

Our family is looking for a warm and caring support for our sweet two little boys Elliot ( 7 years) and his little brother Eugene (3 year). We are a fun creative household that would like to take you in as part of our family. Your new home would be in the big vibrant city of Hamburg in a beautiful old villa in a green residential area close to the center with a garden, shops and food options close by as well as excellent public transport to explore the whole of the beautiful city. You will have a nice bedroom with your own bathroom and your own kitchen.

What we are looking for is an active, loving, fun and creative person, that can easily take on responsibility and handle also stressful situations, is easy to be around and loves taking care of the kids and does fun activities such as baking, painting or crafting and likes taking them out to the parks around. As Germany can be cold and rainy sometimes, the aupair shouldn’t have a problem with that. You should have no problem to be flexible, as family life needs flexibility sometimes. Experience with kids is appreciated.

It is important to us that our home is kept tidy, as we are very tidy people and require the same from our aupair. Part of the job would be to help with some day to day housework, ironing and helping with the laundry, making or changing beds and keep the kids rooms tidy and clean.

It would be great if our aupair is enjoying cooking, ´cause we do like to keep a healthy diet for us and our kids and eat a lot organic.

Also, plaese note that you have to be able to ride a bike and can swim, as we do both activities with the kids. Applicants that are not able to do one or the other, won´t be considered unfortunately.

As the father of the kids speaks mainly english, it would be helpful, that our aupair can speak a little bit of english, so we can all communicate. If you are interested in learning German and as well touch up your english we might be just the right family for you!

Opis pracy

Part of your job would be to get the kids up in the mornings and get them ready for the day, pick them up from nursery/school, take them to the parks and playgrounds in the afternoon and take them to their activities like swimming and sports. You would help with some housework like making the beds in the morning or changing them once a week, helping with the laundry, ironing or emptying the dish washer and keep the kids rooms clean and tidy.

We would appreciate some experience with children, so it all doesn’t come completely new to you. As mentioned tidiness is important to us and should be no problem.

Please note that for our family it worked best, to let our aupair get a food allowance each month and to look after her food herself. You have your own kitchen. This way we are all a bit more flexible. We do gather every night with the kids for dinner and you are more than welcome to join for the shared dinners with the kids every day. Also we do activities and nice family breakfasts at the weekends, that we would be happy for you to be part of.

Of course mostly we are looking for someone that just enjoys spending time and looking after the kids!

You will have a pretty room with a window to the back garden in the souterrain with your own private bathroom and kitchen. It’s quite recently been freshly decorated and newly furnished.
