Hello!! Im Ayşegül, 24 years old from Turkey but living in Germany, Munich right now. I Studied English language and literature department and I’m fluent in english and turkish, besides I’ve been learning German for 4 years is far.
Back in 2020, I went to Czech Republic for 3 months as a volunteer to work in primary, middle and high schools, I was very fortunate to be a part of this project since it broadened my horizon, taught me how to work in a group, improved my communication skills with kids and teenagers from different ages, how to live in abroad in a very young age, how to behave and adapt myself according to my host families that I stayed with. Moreover in 2021 I went to latvia for 6 months as an erasmus exchange student which shaped my current character entirely and while doing it I had a chance to work in a kindergarten as an intern as well.
Apart from my experiences with kids and teens in abroad, I’ve been actively working in language schools in my home country, also I’ve been working as private english tutor as well. Therefore I would love to become your next Au Pair because I love children and enjoy spending time with them.My sister has twins, taking care of them was the main ‘lesson’ in my life about new borns. In that period of time I was acknowledged about how to take care of babies which provided my current informations that I have about childcare.
I recently completed a wonderful and enriching year as an Au Pair in Munich, Germany, and I am now looking for a new opportunity to continue my journey in the United States, preferably in Boston. I am excited about the prospect of becoming part of a new family and helping to care for your children.
During my time in Germany, I was privileged to live with a warm and welcoming host family, where I had the responsibility of caring for two delightful children, aged 2 and 4 years old. My experience with them was both fulfilling and educational. I learned so much about the joys and challenges of caring for toddlers, and I developed a deep understanding of their needs, from daily routines to creative activities that keep them engaged and happy.
My daily responsibilities included preparing meals, assisting with feeding, organizing playtime activities, taking the children to the park, and ensuring their safety at all times. I also helped with bath time, bedtime routines, and potty training, which gave me significant experience in handling the specific needs of toddlers. I was also involved in the educational development of the children by introducing them to basic concepts like colors, shapes, and numbers through fun and interactive games.
Living in Munich was an incredible experience that allowed me to immerse myself in the German language and culture. I took German language classes and practiced my skills daily with my host family and the local community. By the end of my stay, I achieved a good level of proficiency in German, which was one of my main goals for my year abroad. My time in Germany also taught me a lot about adaptability, patience, and the importance of communication, especially when living in a multicultural environment.
Now that my year in Germany has come to an end, I am eager to continue my journey as an Au Pair in the United States. I have always been drawn to the vibrant culture and history of Boston, and I believe it would be the perfect place for me to continue improving my English and to experience American life. I am particularly interested in Boston because of its rich educational opportunities and its reputation as a family-friendly city.
As an Au Pair, I am committed to being a responsible, caring, and reliable part of your family. I understand the importance of trust and open communication, and I strive to create a nurturing and positive environment for the children in my care. My experience in Germany has equipped me with the skills and confidence to handle the daily challenges of childcare, and I am eager to bring this experience to your home.
In addition to my childcare experience, I am also passionate about learning new things, whether it’s exploring a new city, trying out a new recipe, or discovering new activities that children will enjoy. I am flexible and open to adapting to your family’s needs and routines, and I am confident that I can provide the level of care and attention that you are looking for in an Au Pair.
Thank you for considering my application. I would be delighted to have the opportunity to speak with you further about how I can contribute to your family as an Au Pair. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or if you would like to arrange a time for an interview. I look forward to the possibility of joining your family and making Boston my home for the next chapter of my Au Pair journey.
