Hello future family!

Who am I?
My name is Sofus, I'm a 19-year-old boy, turning 20 in August. As well as graduating high school in June. I come from Denmark and live close to Aarhus.
I'm a happy, energetic, and outgoing person. I come from a big family, with two biological siblings, a kid sister (14), a big brother (21), and two non-biological kid brothers (13 & 17). In my free time, I play badminton & soccer. I have a job, working at the local library. I've kept that job for the past three years while attending the Danish high school/college called "gymnasium" (17-20 yrs.)
Otherwise, I like music, spending time with friends, and cooking. I was brought up in the suburbs of Aarhus, 2nd largest city in Denmark. Therefore I'm also familiar & fond of museums, history, parks, fashion/shopping, cafes and all the other things a big city offers.

Why Au pair?
I love experiencing different cultures and languages. I've also been to various parts of the world. I would love to speak French fluently and get a deep understanding of French culture. As mentioned I like to play, and I enjoy being around kids, just being goofy and creative. My mother was an aupair in Paris back in the day, and it sounded lovely.
I would love to live connected to a family that can show me the culture.
So, enjoying the funny universe of kids, loving new cultures, and having a curious manner. These are the reasons why I want to become an au pair.

Why me?
Yes, why should you choose me?
Perhaps you will find, that I have a lot of great qualities and interests which could make me ideal as an au pair. Firstly, I have 3 smaller siblings, and a loooot of cousins, not to mention the other kids I've stumbled upon, such as my mothers friends children, my ex-girlfriend's little brother & a lot of other kids. All these relationships are always nice and fulfilling to me, as I like, and can relate to the universe of kids. I will always prefer to play in the garden/park, sing, draw, dance, and read with the kids than simply install them in front of the TV.
One summer I also trained a team of 25 10-year-olds at soccer for a week. It went well, and I liked it.
While not devoting all of my free time to school, as I feel there are more important things in life, I have always managed to maintain a high level of grades. (Averaging 11, while 12 is the highest grade in DK.) Although I understand there are more important things than school, I clearly understand the importance of school and the importance of good habits & persistence in doing your homework.
I'm sure, I have the skills to understand and help the kids with their homework.

I'm also interested in various things, and I like to meet new people and learn about cultures otherwise unknown to me, a very outgoing and curious spirit.
As a bonus, I like to cook delicious dishes, especially if I have a lot of time.

Finally, I would like to end, by pointing out that I'm a gentle, loving, social person, who speaks English fluently and French at A2, but my French teacher says I have enough skills to graduate B1.
