Coming from a humble family, it was up to the older cousins to help take care of other younger relatives, so for almost 10 years I took care of children ranging from 2 years old all the way through grade school, my daily tasks included making sure the children got ready and went to school on time, cooking and preparing foods based on specific preferences, cleaning after them, and helping them with homework when needed.
Additionally, I currently live alone and on a daily basis do all the housework for me and my pet chihuahua, I mention my dog because I love all pets and cook elaborate meals and clean up after her every single day, and would be more than happy to help with the family pets in case you have any.

The idea of working abroad sounds exciting and enriching as I have never been outside Costa Rica, and Canada sounds like a stunningly beautiful, safe, accepting place, where I will be able to experience many things we don´t have in Central America.
I am hoping the experience can be a cultural exchange, as I could introduce your children to the Spanish language, which is the official language in 21 countries, and comes in 2nd with the most native speakers only after Mandarin, also they would get to experience many genres of Latin music, and Latin cuisine including the best Caribbean Chicken you will ever try.

On my side, while in Canada, I hope to improve my English, and have many experiences I would otherwise never have in Central America. If you needed me to travel with the family and take care of the kids while you are on vacation, I would be more than happy to accompany all of you, and if you decided to come to Costa Rica to get away from the cold, you not only get an Au Pair but also a local tour guide that could take you to all the amazing beaches, volcanoes, rain forests and different attractions Costa Rica is famous for.

At the end of the day, I am sure your children will consider me a friend for life, and regardless of what the future brings, they will always have in me someone they can trust, someone they can reach out to whenever they need advice, and someone to hear them out. I really hope we have a chance to talk over a video call so that we can get to know each other a little better, and I can answer any questions you might have.
