My name is Jesna, I am 24 years old and I come from the beautiful coastal town of Alappuzha in Kerala, India. I would like to thank you for taking the time to read my letter and for considering me as a potential Au Pair for your family.

I am a responsible, warm-hearted, and dedicated young woman with a genuine passion for child care and helping others. After completing my Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology, I volunteered as a Care Assistant at Thanal Palliative Care, where I supported elderly patients with daily tasks, hygiene, and emotional care. This experience helped me develop strong communication skills, empathy, patience, and the ability to care for others in a meaningful way—all of which are essential qualities for an Au Pair.

Becoming an Au Pair in Germany is a dream I’ve been nurturing for some time. I am fascinated by German culture, language, and family life, and I see this opportunity as a perfect way to immerse myself in a new culture while contributing positively to your home. I am currently learning the German language and am committed to improving it further during my stay.

I want to become an Au Pair not only because I love spending time with children, but also because I believe that living with a host family and becoming part of their daily life is the most authentic and rewarding way to experience a different culture. I enjoy engaging children in creative, educational, and fun activities while ensuring their safety and happiness. I am also very organized, flexible, and comfortable managing light household chores, so I am more than happy to help wherever needed in your home.

Experiência com crianças

Although I have not officially worked as an Au Pair yet, I have gained valuable experience in caregiving and supporting others through my volunteer work at Thanal Palliative Care in Kerala, India. In this role, I assisted elderly patients with their daily routines, including feeding, hygiene, mobility, and emotional care. This experience taught me the importance of patience, empathy, and clear communication—qualities that are also essential when caring for children.

I have also spent a lot of time with young children in my extended family and community, helping them with schoolwork, playing games, and looking after them while their parents were busy. I truly enjoy spending time with children, understanding their needs, and being a responsible and caring presence in their lives.

I would like to become an Au Pair abroad—especially in Germany—because I am passionate about cultural exchange and personal growth. I believe that living with a host family will allow me to deeply experience a new culture, improve my German language skills, and learn from different lifestyles and values. At the same time, I can contribute to the family by supporting their children with love, responsibility, and care.
