Dear Future Host Family,

Hi! I am a 23-year-old Filipina who loves music and reading. My father was a folk singer and seeing him sing from when I was younger made me love music. Growing up, I was also into first-aid training and was set to be a first-aid rescuer in the future because my brother always included me in this kind of activity back then. It changed when I graduated top of the class during senior high school and proceeded to take the same course in college. Unfortunately, I did not feel that path was right for me so I shifted to an Education course since I love teaching my friends and kids around me which turned out good but had to stop eventually to work and support my needs since I lost both of my parents before I turned 18.

I have been working here in the Philippines from a very young age and I think I need a little bit of change of routine. I came across this Au-pair program that I think would best fit me since I have long child care experience. This will help me discover more than staying in just one city in my country. I want to learn about this beautiful culture of yours with your family and I hope you would be open to learning about the culture I adapted to growing up in the Philippines. I am also confident that I can help you in taking good care of your children. From my child-care experiences, I learned ways how to adjust and bond with the children I am going to be with. Household chores would not even be a problem. After all, I was taught well growing up to do these things especially since I will stay in a house that your family value. I would like to be with a respectful, loving, and fun family because these traits are also what I value most in life.

Experiência com crianças

I have been babysitting two boys for years. They have been with me since 2017 when they were still a baby to toddlers. So, I can say that I am confident with my experience being with kids. My duties include bathing them morning and night, preparing their clothes to wear, walking them to school, making simple lunches, helping with their school work, playing with them, and cleaning their room.

If given a chance that I will be your Au Pair, I can help you with your kids and enjoy being with them. Also, I am very fond of watching travel videos, especially in European countries. Being an Au Pair can help me explore new cultures which I have been just experiencing virtually and learn about these with your family. These beautiful experiences thrilled me to be an Au Pair so I can share these with the people I love from home. Also, I look forward to introducing the culture we have here in the Philippines that I have adapted to growing up.
