Dear Future Host Family,

Hi! I am a 23-year-old Filipina who loves music and reading. My father was a folk singer and seeing him sing from when I was younger made me love music. Growing up, I was also into first-aid training and was set to be a first-aid rescuer in the future because my brother always included me in this kind of activity back then. It changed when I graduated top of the class during senior high school and proceeded to take the same course in college. Unfortunately, I did not feel that path was right for me so I shifted to an Education course since I love teaching my friends and kids around me which turned out good but had to stop eventually to work and support my needs since I lost both of my parents before I turned 18.

I have been working here in the Philippines from a very young age and I think I need a little bit of change of routine. I came across this Au-pair program that I think would best fit me since I have long child care experience. This will help me discover more than staying in just one city in my country. I want to learn about this beautiful culture of yours with your family and I hope you would be open to learning about the culture I adapted to growing up in the Philippines. I am also confident that I can help you in taking good care of your children. From my child-care experiences, I learned ways how to adjust and bond with the children I am going to be with. Household chores would not even be a problem. After all, I was taught well growing up to do these things especially since I will stay in a house that your family value. I would like to be with a respectful, loving, and fun family because these traits are also what I value most in life.
