Hello!

My name is Alaiyah, and I am from Holland, Michigan, USA. I am currently studying Biology at Baylor University in hopes of going to medical school and becoming a doctor one day! I would describe myself as caring, responsible, and enthusiastic. I enjoy travel, reading, music, being outside in nature, and love sharing those interests with children.

I want to become an Au Pair because I truly enjoy working with kids and helping them grow, explore, and feel supported. At the same time, I'm excited about the chance to experience a new culture, learn from a host family, and build new relationships. I see this opportunity as a way to both care for children and expand my own horizons.

A family should host me because I am trustworthy, adaptable, and positive. I bring patience, creativity, and energy to childcare, but I am also mature and dependable. I believe in creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment where children feel happy and confident.

I qualify for this role because of my experiences leading many young student organizations, volunteering at church nurseries, employment at summer camps, and babysitting children (including my 4 younger brothers). These experiences have taught me responsibility, communication skills, and how to handle challenges calmly. Combined with my enthusiasm and willingness to learn, I am confident I would make a great fit as an Au Pair.

Experiência com crianças

While I have not yet worked as an official Au Pair, I have valuable experiences caring for children through babysitting, volunteering, youth program employment, etc. In these roles I learned how to be patient, responsible, and creative in keeping children engaged. I truly enjoy helping them learn new things, whether that's through play, schoolwork, or everyday routines.

I would like to become an Au Pair abroad because I love the idea of combining my passion for childcare with cultural exchange/travel. Living with a host family allows me to not only support their children, but experience daily life in another country in a meaningful way. I want to learn from my host family's traditions and grow personally from this adventure.
