Dear au pair family,

my name is Lina, I am 17 years old and was born in Munich, Germany. I have been living in Mallorca with my family for more than 12 years and am currently finishing my secondary school diploma at a Spanish school in Mallorca.
Animals and small children have always been the most important thing for me. I grew up in a large family with a little sister and lots of cousins on a farm with animals. We had dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, pigs, chickens and horses. I started riding actively at the age of 5, preferably free riding in the countryside, through forests and by the sea. Cowboy style.
In my father's home country, New Zealand and Australia, I was able to get to know and love other animal species.
I am playful, disciplined, caring and careful with children.
After finishing school this summer, I would like to gain a year of experience working with children before starting an apprenticeship in this field in 2026. From March or April 2026 I plan to go to Africa for 3 months and work with children or in an animal rescue centre. I would like to use the time until then as an au pair.
