I have always loved children, so I was always together with children. I play games with my little cousins, go out with them and have fun in the park. When I realized that I wanted to choose a profession where I would be together with children, I decided to study at University in the department of Child Development. Meanwhile, I realized that learning new information about children makes me very happy and I started working as a volunteer in a kindergarten abroad. I have worked with 4-5 year old children. Although I did not know the language they spoke, after a while we all started to communicate with our body language and I learned how to communicate with them without knowing a language. Most importantly, I learned that communication is sometimes a tight hug with children.

My main goal in being an au pair is that I want to have more experience with children. I love observing children, learning new things about them, spending time together and teaching them. I also want to learn the culture and language of the country I am in, and discover new things while I am an au pair.
