Dear Future Host Family,

My name is Chantal, and I am currently in my senior year of high school in BC Canada. One of my class blocks involves working as a peer tutor at the elementary school, where I help out in a 2nd/3rd grade class. In addition to that, I have plenty of babysitting experience, which has deepened my love for working with kids. I truly enjoy engaging with children, whether it’s through play, teaching, or simply making them smile. This passion has inspired me to pursue a career where I can continue to work with children, which is why I am eager to become an Au Pair.

I want to become an Au Pair because I believe it will be an incredible experience to combine my love for working with kids with the opportunity to travel and immerse myself in a new culture. The chance to live with a host family and care for children in a way that makes a positive impact on their lives is something I deeply value. Not only do I think this will be a valuable experience in terms of personal growth, but it will also help me gain more insight into working with children as I explore career opportunities after high school.

I believe you should consider hosting me because I have hands-on experience with children. My role as a peer tutor has taught me to be patient, understanding, and adaptable to the needs of kids. I love teaching, playing, and helping children grow. My primary goal is always to make their lives better and more enjoyable. I see my work with kids as a way to create a lasting difference in their lives, not just as a caregiver but as someone who can be a positive influence.
