I want to be an au pair because I truly love working with children and enjoy being part of a family’s everyday life. It’s important to me to support and nurture kids in a warm and caring environment, and I feel that being an au pair is a wonderful way to do that while growing personally.

I’m also excited about the opportunity to live in another country for a period of time — to experience a new culture, meet new people, and broaden my horizons. I believe that stepping outside my comfort zone and embracing a different way of life will help me grow, become more independent, and develop new skills that I can carry with me for the rest of my life.

I have lots of experience caring for children, especially my youngest sister, Leah. Because there’s a big age gap between us, I’ve been helping my mom take care of her since she was a baby — feeding her, playing with her, and just being a steady presence. I’ve always enjoyed this role and learned a lot about patience, attentiveness, and how to keep little ones happy and safe.

I’m also often the one my parents trust to babysit when they go out, as I’m responsible and mature enough to manage things on my own. Beyond my family, I’ve babysat for several families in our neighbourhood, which has helped me gain experience with different ages and personalities of children.
I take pride in being someone they can trust and have fun with.

Being an au pair combines my love for children, my passion for connection, and my curiosity for the world — and I can’t wait to bring my energy, care, and open heart to a new family.
