Dear Host Family,

My name is Manika. I am 22 years old from Nepal but currently I am working as an Au pair here in Netherlands. I would describe me as a loyal, reliable, friendly, positive and open-minded woman who is interested in getting to know others culture and make myself independent and mature. Being an Au pair here in Nl taught me so many things so that I'm interested in experiencing a new family life, since it offers a cultural context that is different from mine. I would love to become your next Au pair because I love children and enjoy spending time with them. Also, I can speak Nepali (mother tongue), English, Hindi and a little bit German. I have A2 level German certificate. I can take good care of children and be a part of your family like an elder sister. Here I've been taking care of 2 kids. One is 4 years old boy and anothef is adorable new born baby girl. You can expect me to take care of your children the way you want me to for example bathing, feeding, playing, helping with homework, taking them to school and all other responsibilities. I also don't mind helping with few household chores. I can entertain children with games and activities. Living with me is really easy as I am not a demanding person. I do respect that the house is your house and that I have to follow your house rules. If something works not quite as it should, I prefer to talk instead of ignoring things.

Experiência com crianças

Back in Nepal, I worked as a primary teacher in Shree Adarsha Secondary School and I worked there for 1 year. I was always interested in talking and playing with children, that is why I decided to work as a teacher in the first place. I used to teach them Science subject and I also helped to organize various creative and fun games for my students. When it comes to child experience, apart from teaching them, I also take care of my own young siblings and even help them with their home works, cook for them, feed them, take them to school and play with them. Being an Au pair in abroad will give me a chance to immerse myself in a different culture while allowing me to pursue my passion for childcare. Living and working in a foreign country would allow me to develop new language skills and gain valuable life experiences while also helping me to build meaningful relationship with both the host family and children under my care.
