My name is Kaela, I’m 24 years old and originally from Barbados. I'm a warm, nurturing, and dependable person who genuinely enjoys supporting others and creating a calm, happy environment around me. Coming from a tight-knit and sometimes challenging family dynamic, I’ve developed a strong sense of responsibility, empathy, and patience all of which I bring to the role of an Au Pair and Nanny.

I’m drawn to becoming an Au Pair because I love working with children and believe in helping them feel seen, supported, and safe as they grow. Beyond that, I’m excited to immerse myself in a new culture, build meaningful connections, and learn from a different way of life. Being an Au Pair is not just a job to me, it's a chance to be part of a family and make a positive impact.

Experiência com crianças

While I haven’t officially worked as an Au Pair or Nanny yet, I’ve always had a natural connection with children and a nurturing spirit. Growing up, I was often the one helping care for younger relatives—assisting with homework, preparing meals, and keeping them entertained. I even provided assistance at a nursery during my siblings’ younger years while they were enrolled there. That experience gave me an early sense of responsibility and a deeper understanding of how to support children in both playful and structured environments.

I want to become an Au Pair and Nanny abroad because I truly believe in the beauty of cultural exchange and building meaningful relationships with families from around the world. It’s a chance for me to grow personally, learn new traditions and languages, and provide loving care in a home where I’m needed and appreciated. Being part of a child’s everyday moments and development is something I would feel honored to experience.
