Hello!

My name is Elizabeth and I am looking to be a live in nanny/au pair for a wonderful family for the next 6-12 months. I come from New Zealand, so am a native English speaker, but have fallen in love with Europe during my travels here and want to stay!

I am happy to work with children of all ages, and also am interested in live in tutor work, or even tutoring online! I have experience working with children with special need and/or learning challenges (ADHD, ASD etc.) from both my degree and through personal experience. I have a lot of knowledge on child development and different brain conditions and have a lot of empathy, patience and joy to bring to children with extra challenges.

About me: I have two degrees, one in Psychology and a first class honours degree in Neuroscience. After my year as an au pair I will be looking to start my PhD, but I want a year to get settled into life in Europe.

I have extensive knowledge of child development and care from my degrees and experience working with children in teaching assistant jobs, care working jobs and public program work. I adore working with children of all ages, having fun together, teaching, encouraging, playing and supporting them at this very crucial stage in life.

I have also taken University courses in history, English literature, nutrition, law, ethics and medical sciences.

I am first aide trained, and have extensive medical and nutritional knowledge.

I am a great cook and love cooking and baking (I have been in the kitchen since I was 4 years old, being taught by my wonderful mother) and I am happy to lend a hand in the kitchen or cook full meals for the family if wanted or needed. I am also a great lunch packer :)

I have also worked as a cleaner when I used to do in home care for elderly, and am happy to help out where needed around the home.

During one of my gap years in University and managed a kennels and cattery. I have also had extensive experience with horses. Therefore I am happy to help care for any pets of all shapes and sizes, and have a lot of experience in this area.

Due to my education and experience I am only interested in positions that can offer £500 per week or above.
