My name is Amber, I am 23 years old, and I am from the beautiful country of South Africa. I recently completed a rewarding two-year experience as an Au Pair in the United States, where I took care of four wonderful girls aged newborn to 7 years old. It was such a meaningful experience that I extended my stay by an extra year with the same family. Now, I am excited to continue this journey in a new country, offering my skills and heart to another family while discovering new cultures and growing even more as a person.
I want to become an Au Pair and Nanny because I truly enjoy working with children and helping them grow in a safe, loving, and stimulating environment. This role allows me to combine my passion for childcare with my desire to learn about new cultures, languages, and ways of life. Being an Au Pair is more than just a job for me—it is a meaningful life experience that creates lifelong bonds and personal development.

I have extensive hands-on experience, including my time in the USA, as well as previous work as a high school Afrikaans teacher for grades 8 through 12. I graduated in December 2020 with two distinctions and have always been diligent and hardworking. My background has prepared me well to take initiative, be patient, and build strong, supportive relationships with children of different ages.
