*** CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR OUR NEXT AUPAIR GIRL STARTING FROM OCTOBER 2024 ***

Dear AuPair,

we are a family of four, Mom, Dad and two little girls. The girls are 4 years and almost 2 years old. We are a bilingual household (Dad is from Northern Italy, speaks Italian with the kids, Mom speaks German). We are looking for a lovely girl who is willing to help us keeping an eye on both of our girls while we are at work and is willing to speak Italian (or English) with the girls.
Our current Aupair girl from the US is staying until the 9th of October 2024, so a start after that would be great! Also, we are looking for someone who is willing to stay for a period of 12 months with us, so there is not too much change in the main caregivers for our girls. We both work as doctors (Dad is a full-time working neurologist, Mom works part time from mostly Mon-Wed in the Anaesthesiology Department, some weeks the days will change). Due to our work we also have to do 24 hour shifts, so your working hours will be slightly different each week. But in general you will only have to work 3-4 days a week and have 3-5 consecutive days off. So there is plenty of free time to explore all around Austria and Europe ! Our current Aupair girl is having a great time and meeting friends and traveling almost every week!

We live in a small village in Upper Austria near the Alps, so whenever you are off duty you can enjoy the mountains, hike and bike (there is a relatively new mountain bike waiting for you if you like to try it out). During winter season we can also take you skiing if you wish to. There is also a big lake near us, so swimming and enjoying freetime at the lake is possible too.

With public transport the next bigger cities like Linz and Salzburg are about 45 min - 1 hour away, Vienna is a 2-hour train ride. Bus and train station are within walking distance in the village.
We live in our own home (newly built house) with a garden and a swimming pool. Of course there is a private room for you and your own bathroom.

What we expect:
- Helping with getting the girls ready in the morning on 3-4 days of the week, 1-3x/month you will be alone with them because one of us is still at work after a night shift and the other one already left for work
- taking and picking up the girls from daycare and kindergarten
- putting Elisa down for naptime (she is sleep trained so no problems to be expected here)
- cook some easy meals on the days we are both at work for the girls and yourself
- occasional babysitting, sometimes in the evenings
- Speaking preferably Italian (or English) with the kids would be a great plus! (the main language in our household is German of course! )
- drivers licence, because sometimes you need to drive the kids to their afternoon activities and you need to be able to go to the language course in the evenings
