Dear future au-pair,

I am Tina and I work as financial auditor. Currently I am on parental leave, but I work part time mainly from home and that is why we are looking for an au-pair, so someone takes care of the our toddlers while I am working.

Usually, you would pick up Jindra and Béďa from the nursery in the afternoon and stay with them couple of hours. However, the schedule is flexible and can be adjusted to aupair needs.
On average your weekly working hours will be 25 hours (vacation already taken into account). Usually it is 5-8 hours per day, longer days are then balanced with extra days off. Weekends are often free, but at least one day per week you would have completely off.
We do more exact timetables for each week, so the au-pair know when she is expected to be present and when is her free time. The timetable is usually more or less stable, but might slightly vary from week to week. Also, if you need free for some specific days / part of the day, usually it is no problem to adjust it to your needs.

We expect you to help us with the household as well, but it is shared responsibility of the family, so you don't have to do everything. You can also choose what you prefer to do more. Examples of what our past au-pairs helped us with:
- wash and fold baby laundry, diapers or even other laundry
- empty the dishwasher
- give the robo-mop in bathroom/kitchen/hallway/...
- take out rubbish
- change bedsheets

Pocket money (280+70 EUR/month) and working hours (30h/week and 2 days vacation per month) are defined by German law. We will also cover the health insurance or give you extra 39 EUR/month if you already have some.

Размещение Au Pair

We live in a house on the edge of a smaller town, few steps from the forest on a very quiet street. We have one full bathroom, one half bathroom, kitchen, living room, four bedrooms - one of them private for the au-pair.

The au-pair room is on the top floor of our house, providing amazing view on the city. You can see sunset from your window!
There is a bed with new comfortable mattress and bedsheets matching your color preference, table, couch and some cabinets to store clothes/stuff. You also have there three lights changing color.
There is AC on the floor, unfortunately not directly in the au-pair room, but you can cool it down by opening the door.

We live in Pirna, it is a beautiful small town located in the picturesque Elbe river valley in the state of Saxony, Germany. There are many things that make Pirna awesome, including:
- Historic Old Town: Pirna's Old Town is known for its beautiful architecture, charming cobblestone streets, and historic buildings.
- Stunning Natural Scenery: The town is situated in the heart of the Saxon Switzerland National Park, which is known for its stunning rock formations, deep gorges, and beautiful hiking trails.
- Rich Culture: Pirna has a rich cultural heritage, with many museums, galleries, and historic landmarks to explore, including the Pirna City Museum, the Stadtmuseum, and the Sonnenstein Castle.
- Vibrant Community: Pirna has a thriving community with many festivals, markets, and events throughout the year. The town is also home to a lively music and arts scene.
- Excellent Location: Pirna is located just 20 minutes from Dresden, the capital city of Saxony, and is easily accessible by car, public transportation or bike.
